Overview
Sullie is the original folk and singer-songwriter project of Irish-born, Sydney-based musician John O’Sullivan. Blending contemporary folk, Irish influences and storytelling traditions, his songs explore themes of home, identity, social justice, love and loss. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Glen Hansard, Paul Brady and Christy Moore, Sullie delivers heartfelt performances built around acoustic guitar, rich melodies and thoughtful lyrics. A regular performer across Sydney's folk and acoustic scene, Sullie has released the album Tears and the anti-war EP Fields of Blood. His upcoming album The World Knows continues his commitment to honest songwriting that connects personal stories with wider human experiences
