Overview
The Shruti Brothers are a trio of seasoned musicians based in Sydney who play a diverse range of well-known songs but each reinterpreted in a unique and different style. Taking influences from Celtic to African rhythms, blugrass to gypsy jazz, world music to swing, the Shruti Brothers cover multiple genres in a fun, entertaining style and lively performance. They take their name from the 'Shruti Box', a harmonium-type instrument originating from the Indian subcontinent and is just one of the multiple instruments, traditional and alternative that the band feature in their performances.
