Overview
Abigail Wighton is a singer-songwriter based in Sydney. Her love of storytelling shines through her soul-bearing lyrics and sweet melodies. Her music is a blend of folk and indie-pop with influences including Lizzy McAlpine, Gretta Ray and of course Taylor Swift. Be prepared for a performance with honesty and openness with her own sense of quirky humour thrown in.
She released her debut EP ‘interwoven’ in November 2019 which showcases five of her songs reflecting on the highs and lows, beauty and sadness of life. March 2022 saw her follow up release: ‘Known’ the dual single featuring ‘More Than You Know’ and ‘Fully Known’. She frequently plays around the Sydney, Illawarra and surrounding regions and is very happy to be up in the glorious northern beaches again.
