Funds raised from grants, sponsors and crowdfunding together with ticket income have enabled us to not only pay for the festival infrastructure (insurance, promotion, staging etc.) but also pay for a limited number of performance slots on our three stages. During the remaining times we offer opportunities for artists to perform on the same stages and receive funds directly via our Busking Buckets.
All successful applicants (including those performing on the busking stages) will be accredited in the program and on the web site.
Applicants who were successful in applying for the now cancelled 2021 festival are being offered a place in the 2022 festival and have until the end of May, 2022, to confirm their participation. At that time applications will open to fill any vacancies that have arisen. If you are interested, then return to this web site in June 2022.
The Festival is expected to run from Friday 7pm till 9.30pm Sunday night, and selected acts are, as a rule, expected to be available for the entire Festival.
As with most Festivals, it is not possible to do an extensive sound check. Line checks will take place and then our experienced sound crews will do the rest.
We ask you to use your photos and music to promote yourself and the festival.
Our funding model guarantees a payment of $100-$200 for singles and duos and up to $400 per band for the paid performances.
We ask that you keep up to date with changes to information provided. As we are a relatively new festival there are kinks that may need straightening out.
